Valleys and Mountains

Sometimes life goes sailing along all smooth like the ocean and then at other times  life is either a valley or a mountain,  During those times I seem to forget that  HE is in control!!   Although I definitely don’t feel like He is when things seem to be OUT of control!!

A friend of mine recently sent me an e-mail reminding me of our many blessings and how we don’t deserve anything, NOTHING….we don’t deserve even the breath HE give us every day and without HIM we wouldn’t have the fresh air we need to even breathe.     HE does give us breath, a warm place to live and a wonderful family.  GOD has certainly been GOOD to me in so many marvelous ways!!

I love this song,  God on the Mountain

Life is easy when you’re up on the mountain
And you’ve got peace of mind like you’ve never known.
But then things change and you’re down in the valley.
Don’t lose faith for you’re never alone.

For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley.
When things go wrong, He’ll make it right.
And the God of the good times
is still God in the bad times.
The God of the day is still God in the night.

You talk of faith when you’re up on the mountain.
Oh but the talk comes easy when life’s at its best.
But it’s down in the valley of trials and temptation
That’s when faith is really put to the test.

For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley.
When things go wrong, He’ll make it right.
And the God of the good times
is still God in the bad times.
The God of the day is still God in the night.

For the God on the mountain is still God in the valley.
When things go wrong, He’ll make it right.
And the God of the good times
is still God in the bad times.
The God of the day is still God in the night.
The God of the day is still God in the night.

“God On The Mountain” words and music by Tracy G. Dartt

A great reminder that the God of the day is still God of the night!!!
