All to Jesus I surrender

I need to write about all of my other grandkids and will but today we just returned from Fairhope, AL.  We were there for 2 1/2 weeks with our wonderful daughter, her hubby and 4 wonderful children.   We went down there to help put on a roof and a huge porch/veranda on her house.    Since she lives in the south and on a river we decided that it was a veranda!!  I am going to have to post pictures of the project.  Wow!!!  Anyway……we left early this morning after fun, fun fun….we went to the beach, navy museum, the pier at fairhope, watched Brittany play volleyball, the girls ballet classes, went shopping and somehow the guys still were able to get the job almost done.  They worked while we played but did make it to few of the above things.

I woke up around 4 AM and dozed until 5:20 and we left at 6.  For some reason this song started going around in my head….

All to Jesus, I surrender;
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.

Refrain

I surrender all, I surrender all,
All to Thee, my blessèd Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;
Humbly at His feet I bow,
Worldly pleasures all forsaken;
Take me, Jesus, take me now.

Refrain

All to Jesus, I surrender;
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel the Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine.

Refrain

All to Jesus, I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power;
Let Thy blessing fall on me.

Refrain

All to Jesus I surrender;
Now I feel the sacred flame.
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to His Name!

All day long as I thought about leaving the kids and heading home and then thinking about the next year with a trip to Haiti, a trip out West, finances etc.   So many times I feel like I am a fish out of water, do you ever feel that way??   On the way home  the Lord kept reminding me of this song!!

 We arrived home around 8 only to find out that our water pump on our house isn’t pumping water like it should…..we have a well and right now the water goes in spurts.  At least they are long enough spurts that you can get soaped up, then stand there and freeze until the next spurt.   So guess I just have to surrender the water pump.  We need to surrender ALL as the song says, so many times we just think of this song at invitation time but it should be a daily thing in our lives.  All to Jesus I surrender….
